Managing Distribution Group(s)
Use Join or leave a distribution group to see and manage the distribution groups you’re a member of.
Join a distribution group
Log into https://portal.office.com
Open the Outlook Web Applications
Select Settings
then All Outlook Settings (near the bottom of the pop-out window)
Then General > Distribution groups
You should see this (This can take a while to load!)
Select Join
In the dialog box, select the group you want to join. You can search for a group by typing all or part of its name in the search window, and then selecting the search icon
. To clear the search results, select Clear
.
Select the group you want to join.
Select Join
.
You will then get a confirmation that you have joined, or a request has been made to the owner.
To leave a distribution group
Log into https://portal.office.com
Open the Outlook Web Applications
Select Settings
then All Outlook Settings
Then General > Groups > Distribution groups
You should see this
Select the distribution group you want to leave.
Select Leave
Select Yes
