In this guide, we will be making a rule that moves any email that has the word invoice in the title to a different folder.
The Rules in Outlook are very powerful and can be used for many different things
Create a SubFolder

- Navigate to a location on Outlook that you want to add a new folder.
- Right Click on a Folder and from the pop out menu select 'Create new subfolder'.
- Type in a name of the new folder.

Create a Rule

- Click on the Cog, top right.
- Click on 'Mail'.
- Click on 'Inbox and sweep rules'.
- Click on the +symbol.
- Give the new rule a name.
- Click on the drop down under 'When the message arrives...' (1)
- Click on one of the types that best suits your needs, in this guide we are choosing 'It includes these words' (2).
- Now chose 'in the subject', you can also use 'in the subject or body..', but any message that has a word like invoice in will be moved.
- In the popup window, type in the word you want to use (3), in this case 'Invoice' and then click on the +symbol (4).
- Now you can see that the word has moved down (5), you can repeat step 9 and add additional key words.

- Now Click on OK (6).
- Now Click on the drop down options in the section 'Do all of the following'.
- On the drop down menu, click on 'Move, copy or delete'.
- Now Click on 'Move the message to folder...'.
- Navigate to the new folder you created in the earlier step.
- In this example, we are using Invoices (7).
- Click on OK. (8)
- Your rule is now all set up, click on OK (9)
